U.S. Army Guidons – Official Regulation Size and Custom Guidons for Framing

Honor Your Unit's History with a Quality Army Guidon

An Army Guidon represents the pride, identity, and distinguished history of a United States Army unit. From military formations and change of command ceremonies to retirement presentations and commemorative displays, the guidon symbolizes the dedication and service of the soldiers who proudly serve beneath it.

At DODGuidons.com, we specialize in manufacturing high-quality U.S. Army Guidons in official regulation sizes and several smaller sizes designed for framing, shadow boxes, and military keepsakes.

Official Regulation-Size Army Guidons – AR 840-10

Our Regulation Army Guidons are manufactured in accordance with Army Regulation AR 840-10, which establishes specifications for Army flags and guidons.

Our full-size Army Guidons measure 20 inches x 27 inches, featuring the traditional swallowtail design and branch-specific colors, insignia, letters, and numbers.

Constructed using U.S.-manufactured 200-denier nylon, marine-grade thread, reinforced stress points, and stitched appliqué lettering, our regulation guidons are built for durability and professional appearance.

These guidons are ideal for military formations, change of command ceremonies, unit displays, and official Army functions.

Army Gift Guidons – Several Sizes for Framing

Not every Army Guidon is intended for ceremonial use. Many soldiers, veterans, and military families prefer a Mini Army Guidon for framing to commemorate their service, deployment, or military assignment.

DODGuidons offers several popular sizes:

• Full Size – 20" x 27": Official regulation dimensions or a full-size commemorative display.

• Mid Size – 10" x 14": Ideal for retirement gifts and framed presentations.

• Gift Size – 8" x 12": Perfect for military shadow boxes and office displays.

• Quarter Size – 5" x 7": Excellent for compact frames and personal keepsakes.

Custom sizes are also available upon request.

Two Finishing Options for Army Gift Guidons

Our Army Gift Guidons are available in two finishing styles:

With Seams: Features the traditional swallowtail shape with finished edges, closely resembling an official Army Guidon.

Without Seams (Framer-Friendly): Produced on rectangular fabric, allowing professional frame shops to cut the mat in the shape of the guidon for a clean, attractive presentation.

Custom Army Guidons for Every Branch

We manufacture Infantry, Armor, Cavalry, Artillery, Aviation, Military Police, Engineer, Medical, Signal, Special Forces, and many other Army branch guidons.

Our gift guidons can also be personalized with company, platoon, section, squad, or S-Shop information, making them meaningful military retirement gifts and farewell presentations.
