Army Regulation on Local Procurement
Per AR 840-10, Chapter 10-1b, installation commanders are authorized to locally procure guidons if the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Clothing and Heraldry Office cannot meet the required delivery date. Local procurement procedures, including payment methods such as credit cards or contracts, are established by the installation.
