Symbolism
Scarlet and buff are the colors used for Support units. The white, scarlet and blue arrows represent the parent command, Army Materiel Command. The merging of the arrows towards the cannon symbolizes the combined efforts of the Army and industry to produce the best arms and equipment for troops. The entwined calipers further allude to this coordinated support and the advanced engineering which is inherent to maintain a strong and effective military force. The cannon and stacked cannonballs represent the Detroit Arsenal in Warren, Michigan, where the Battalion is located. None.
Background
The coat of arms was approved on 18 June 2014. It was amended to correct the blazon of the shield on 2 October 2014.
