Afghanistan Campaign Ceremonial Streamer
The Afghanistan Campaign Ceremonial Streamer represents U.S. Army participation and distinguished service during military operations in Afghanistan as part of the Global War on Terrorism.
The Afghanistan Campaign Streamer reflects the design of the Afghanistan Campaign Medal ribbon and features thirteen stripes of Emerald, Scarlet, Black, White, and Old Glory Blue. The colors reflect Afghanistan and the United States and its allies. The authorized campaign inscription is embroidered in yellow.
Army organizations that received campaign participation credit for service in Afghanistan may display the appropriate streamer on their organizational colors. The inscription displayed on the streamer corresponds to the campaign credit authorized in the unit's official Lineage and Honors.
Authorized Afghanistan campaign inscriptions include Liberation of Afghanistan, Consolidation I, Consolidation II, Consolidation III, and Transition I, as applicable to the unit's official campaign participation credit.
The streamer is designed for display on authorized U.S. Army organizational colors, distinguishing flags, and guidons, representing the organization's participation in designated Afghanistan campaigns and preserving its official lineage and battle honors.
