Army Vietnam Service Campaign Streamer

The Army Vietnam Service Campaign Streamer represents U.S. Army campaign participation and distinguished service during military operations in Vietnam from 1962 through 1973.

U.S. Army organizations served throughout the Vietnam War in advisory, combat, aviation, artillery, engineering, logistical, medical, and support roles. Units that received official campaign participation credit are authorized to display the appropriate Vietnam Service Campaign Streamer as part of their organizational Lineage and Honors.

The Vietnam Service Campaign Streamer is Yellow with three Red stripes through the center and a Green stripe along each side.

The Yellow field with three Red stripes was inspired by the flag of the Republic of Vietnam, while the Green borders symbolize the jungle terrain of Vietnam.

The authorized campaign inscription is embroidered in White.
