Army World War II European-African-Middle Eastern Theater Streamer
The Army World War II European-African-Middle Eastern (EAME) Theater Streamer represents U.S. Army campaign participation during World War II operations conducted throughout Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East.
The European-African-Middle Eastern Theater encompassed some of the most significant campaigns of World War II, including operations in North Africa, Sicily, Italy, France, Belgium, Germany, and other areas of the European Theater.
The European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Streamer is green with a brown stripe along each edge. The center features narrow Blue, White, and Red stripes, while additional Green, White, Red, White, Black, and White stripe groupings represent the European and African theaters of operation.
The brown represents the sands of Africa, while green represents the fields of Europe. The Green, White, and Red colors represent Italy, while the White and Black colors represent Germany. The central Blue, White, and Red stripes represent the United States and the continuation of American defense following the attack on Pearl Harbor.
